Church services

Church services at All Saints are held every 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month at 9am.  Our services follow the Book of Common Prayer format with Communion offered in two parts.  The safety of our congregation remains our utmost concern and we will monitor prevailing health risks and will update our procedures accordingly.

Goodnestone will have their services on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month at 9am.

All Saints church is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am - 5pm for visits and private prayer.

Since December 2022 we have discontinued our online service on YouTube and Facebook.  We may bring this service format back in the future.

All Saints Church, Chillenden

The historic Church of All Saints in Chillenden dates back to 1180 and has been a place of Christian worship ever since, serving the immediate parish.  It has a Norman doorway, a Jacobean pulpit and an intricate chancel screen by Sir George Gilbert Scott.  With seating for some 60 places in the congregation is a delightful village church which welcomes all to its services.

All Saints is part of the Canonry Benefice encompassing the neighbouring parishes of Ash, Goodnestone, Nonington, Preston and Elmstone.  More information on the Canonry Benefice can be found in our 2023 Profile  here.  Please also visit the Benefice website for more information, and for links to the other parishes.

You are welcome. We are open to visitors
